5 things i have learned since becoming a mum at only 18 years old... 💕

1. Maturity is not about age
Everyone is exploring and finding their independence in their own ways, i believe you mature differently when you have kids regardless of your age with all of the rolls and added responsibilities you take on 🌸

2. Success looks different
I used to believe success was independent to your annual income and the materials you accumulate. Success to me now honestly is having a warm home, hobbies & passions, a steady income and good health.

3. My idea of faith changed
I have always believed in God and grew up around faith & bible teachings but i will admit it never took much priority in my life. When i had kids my believes changed and naturally strengthened and i made the decision to priorities it more. Im not perfect but im learning every day what it is like to be closer to God 🫶🏼

4. My idea of friendships & socialising changed
I used to struggle during & after my first pregnancy with loneliness. I didnt feel like i could fit in with my friends anymore and my social life really took a hit. Over the years i learned how to balance my social life amongst being a mum. I naturally made new friends who had young kids like myself who i could meet for coffees & soft-play dates. I also love meeting old friends every few months to catch up. I learned mostly that having friends and a social life did not mean it had to include alcohol & partying. I learned that i didnt have to isolate myself from my friends because thats what i believed people my age only wanted to do. 99% of my social life now includes my children & i could not be happier🤍

5. Needs & wants are not what i thought they were
My whole life revolved and prioritises my family, children & our health. I feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to give my children a clean diet, a warm home and running electricity. That will always come before anything to me & feeling that gratitude 🥺
